STEP UP to Self-Advocacy...How to Become a Future Leader

This presentation will review the importance of becoming a self-advocate. Participants will be able to define what self-advocacy is, learn about self-advocacy services in the state and learn "real-world" activities that lead to greater independence on the road to being a self-advocate. Focus will be placed on youth/young adults with disabilities as they transition into adulthood.
